Life on the farm

Welcome to Mayberry Farm, where creativity, family, and country living come together.

I’m Sarah Murch, the artist and photographer behind the work you’ll find here. I was born and raised in Durham Bridge, New Brunswick, and still live on our small family farm surrounded by the animals, landscapes, and quiet beauty that continue to inspire me every day.

My journey began with a deep love for art at a young age — sketching animals and country scenes long before I knew it would grow into a lifelong passion. Today, that same spark fuels Mayberry Farm Fine Art, where I specialize in pet and memorial portraits, wildlife pieces, and scenes that celebrate rural life. Each work is created with care, capturing not only likeness but the emotion and connection that make each subject special.

Over time, my creative path expanded to include Mayberry Farm Photography, where I capture authentic moments for families, children, and couples, often right here on the farm. Whether it’s golden evening light in the fields or the laughter of kids feeding the animals, I love preserving those real, heartfelt memories that tell a story.

Beyond the studio and camera, our family takes pride in the simple joys of farm life — collecting fresh eggs, making maple syrup each spring, and caring for our animals through every season. These everyday moments are at the heart of everything I do.

Through my art, photography, and farm goods, I hope to share a little piece of what makes this life so special — honest work, natural beauty, and the warmth of home. Thank you for being here and for supporting our small family farm and the creative life it makes possible.
